I pray that you all had a blessed Christmas. I know that we did. It was busy but so worth it. What a special one with it being our Grandson's First one! We could't resist doing a little spoiling:). Here he is enjoying one of his gifts from Papa & Nana…
He is such a happy lil guy:).
I have been making progress on my Sunflower Home picture…..
It is a fun stitch. Hopefully I will get it done sometime in the next week. The DD and DSIL are moving on New Years's I know it won't be complete by then but hopefully soon after.
This past September I got a new job from what I am hearing the next few weeks are really busy with year end I pray that I still have some time to put a few stitches in each evening.
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

They will be spending the night for all the festivities. He is such a little flirt yep he has Nana's heart.
On the stitching front after all the baking and candy making was completed I started this…
My DD and DSIL were married in October. The day was filled with sunflowers both of their favorites. On New Years day they will be moving into a new (old) house that they will be renting. I thought this would make a lovely housewarming gift.
Well there is salad to be made and green beans to start for the all of the festivities (3 celebrations in the next two days)..
I leave you with someone waiting at the fireplace for Santa. ( Truth be told if he did come down the chimney this little love would probably hide for days :)).
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,

Busy Christmas Weekend
Well this past weekend was all about preparing for Christmas. On Saturday my DD and I continued our tradition of spending a day shopping. This year the DD in law got to come along! So that meant I got some cuddle time with my favorite lil man. Then on Sunday it was time to put the trees up...
One is all my angels, one all of the ornaments then one with all handmade ones. I am really thinking of keeping the little one with handmade up all year round and switching ornament for the season.
On the stitching front I have been making good progress on the afghan and really hope to have it finished this week.
My favorite new decoration this year..
I can't wait to sit and play with lil man and talk about the true meaning of Christmas.
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Another Finish
Last night I was able to complete the last of the ornaments...
Now to do the finishing on them. Hopefully that goes well. Now just an afghan to complete and a scarf and the Christmas gift making will be complete.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Let the Christmas Activities Begin
Well Thanksgiving is behind us(3 for our family) and the Christmas activities have begun.. Yesterday was a lovely Christmas party with the Ladies Guild at Church. Carry in, Christmas Bingo, Christmas Carols and the revealing of Prayer Partners and selecting new ones. I had a great prayer partner this year! When we revealed we give gifts and look at all the goodies she gave me…
I am truly blessed. Looking forward to reading the book.
On the stitching front. I decided this year that part of the gifts I was going to start making ornaments for the kiddies. The couples get one and for now the little man. These are the ones that I have completed stitching..
